The Children’s Advocacy Center of Green River District is interviewing for the full-time position of CASA Director to lead our Henderson County and Union County CASA Program.
Primary responsibilities include recruiting/screening and training of new program volunteers as well as ongoing volunteer supervision; provide consultation and guidance to the CASA volunteers in conjunction with attending family court as well as in the office; providing direct services as a CASA; maintain service delivery records and prepare monthly and quarterly reports; network with community service agencies; deliver presentations to community and civic groups; research funding sources and prepare grant applications; supervision of CASA Coordinator and CASA Administrative Assistant; assist judges and county attorneys in the interviewing of children; prepare and counsel child victims concerning court proceedings.
Bachelor’s degree in social services/human services field required, with 1-3 years supervisory experience preferred.
