The Children’s Advocacy Center is Growing!

We are hiring a part-time Victim & Family Advocate.  24 hours, 3 days a week.  Must be LCSW/LPCC or eligible.

Will provide service coordination and referral assistance to appropriate social service agencies, law enforcement, prosecution, victims and families and counseling services.  Will organize community education and improve delivery of services in outlying areas.  Will participate as a liaison between the child victim and their families and law enforcement/social services and prosecution.  Will work with and support multidisciplinary teams in each county of service. Assist as backup to medical unit coordinator.  Will provide court advocacy to child victims and their families.  Will develop and implement community awareness programs and in-service trainings.

Our Mission: To promote the prevention of child abuse and family violence in all its forms, and to promote interagency collaboration to improve community services for child abuse victims and their families.
Membership: Membership is open to all concerned persons.



The Child Victims’ Trust Fund (CVTF) has provided funding to The Childrens Advocacy Center of Green River District for child sexual abuse medical examinations. Administered by the Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Prevention Board, the CVTF receives revenue from proceeds of the “I Care About Kids” special license plates, the Kentucky Income Tax Refund Check-Off and private donations.


The Children’s Advocacy Center of Green River District is an Associate Member of The National Children’s Alliance in Washington, DC.


The Children’s Advocacy Center of Green River District is one of 15 designated centers in the state of Kentucky and is a full member of The Kentucky Association of Children’s Advocacy Centers.

    that relies on federal and state funding sources, and the
    support of its community and local business.
